Blanes is the first town of the Costa Brava, bordered by sea with quiet beaches but at the same time surrounded by mountain passages. The Main Festival “Fiesta Mayor” of Blanes is celebrated from the 21st until the 28th of July in the honour of Saint Anna, Village patron, with a program filled with activities. The most important would be the International Competition of Artificial Fireworks and the Village Trophy of Blanes, one of the most important of our country which attracts thousands of visitors to our town.

During the summer different activities are organised such as: Havanera singers, dance festivals, sardana auditions, etc.

The 21st of august, day of Saint Bonós and Saint Maximìa, the Small Town’s Festival is celebrated.

The fair of Saint Tomàs finds it’s place the 21st of December where you’ll find many different products related to the christmass and newyear holidays.

During the entire year artisan fairs take place where the artisans of the entire province come and exposition their different types of works.
